NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC – New Hanover County’s largest community safety event of the year will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2014 at Hugh MacRae Park in Wilmington. The third annual Community Safety Expo will provide a variety of information and demonstrations focusing on safety both in and beyond the home.
Sponsored by New Hanover County and the City of Wilmington, numerous vendors and organizations will be on hand to demonstrate emergency response equipment and provide free information on a wide variety of safety and preparedness topics. Prizes will be awarded for successfully answering safety questions at select booths and the Carolina Fire Crew will be singing and dancing their way through fire safety messages – a performance you don’t want to miss!
